Codeward connects command-line execution with GitHub webhook workflows. The system parses diffs, evaluates changes against customizable project rules, and formats findings into structured reports with clear severity levels. Review comments are anchored to specific commit SHAs to prevent obsolete feedback on updated PRs.

The tool avoids speculative automated code rewriting, focusing strictly on structured analysis and actionable commentary that preserves human engineer oversight. It minimizes external dependencies to keep local execution fast and secure.
